Domain Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Creates and develops Domain IT architecture solutions (integrated processes, applications, data, and technology) that address business challenges while adhering to the enterprise architecture guidelines and standards.

• Applies extensive conceptual and practical expertise in Domain Architecture to carry out intricate technical planning, architecture development, and adjustments to specifications for Domain solution delivery.

• Addresses complex issues and collaborates effectively to implement comprehensive, ongoing Domain level architecture enhancement roadmaps that influence the organization.

• Operates autonomously, requiring minimal guidance and direction to address and shape Enterprise and System architecture using Domain level expertise.

• Assesses high-level designs to verify alignment with Solution Architecture.

• May take the lead on projects or project components within a larger initiative or may be responsible for continuous activities or objectives.

• Guides developers and produces reference implementations/frameworks.

• Collaborates with System Architects to develop capabilities and features.

• Provides single domain architecture solutions and implements ongoing domain level architecture enhancement roadmaps.

• Actively contributes to the design and management of a continuous delivery pipeline.

• Plans the architecture runway for a complete solution and promotes built-in quality across the entire solution.

• Establishes and aids in defining Non-Functional requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-9+ years of overall experience.

• 4-6 years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center – Auto, Home, PNC.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience in defining architecture roadmaps and technology strategies.

• Knowledge of cloud transformation, APIs, integrations, and data architecture.

• An architect or senior-level industry certification is required within 12 months of hire in Guidewire Architecture.

• Experience in supporting large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Proficient English communication skills.
