Documentation Technician / CAD Draftsperson – AutoCAD, CCTV and Structured Cabling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Generate, adjust, and enhance floor plans, sections, elevations, and technical specifications utilizing AutoCAD.

• Produce drawings for non-powered infrastructure, such as cable trays, cable ladder systems, wireways, conduits, and pull boxes.

• Plot and detail structured cabling points for both data and voice communications.

• Design layouts and diagrams for CCTV systems, encompassing cameras, racks, switches, and NVRs.

• Prepare and revise technical documentation pertaining to ongoing projects.

• Organize and standardize technical files for efficient access.

• Oversee revisions of projects and associated documents.

• Ensure that technical teams have access to the most current file versions.

• Maintain the organization and standardization of technical deliverables.

• Become a member of the Engineering and Projects team at a technology company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or ongoing technical education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, Building Construction, or a related discipline.

• Advanced skills in AutoCAD 2D.

• Technical understanding of structured cabling and EIA/TIA standards.

• Familiarity with CCTV systems.

• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering or architectural drawings.

• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience in creating and updating technical drawings.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.

• Knowledge of CCTV, structured cabling, and infrastructure projects.

• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple files and oversee documentation and revisions.

• Dedication to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outputs.

• 3–5 years of professional experience is preferred.
