Documentation Technician / CAD Drafter – AutoCAD, CCTV and Structured Cabling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create, modify, and update floor plans, sections, elevations, and technical details utilizing AutoCAD.

• Develop drawings for low-voltage infrastructure, encompassing cable trays, ladder racks, wireways, conduits, and pull boxes.

• Plot and provide detailed layouts for structured cabling points for both data and voice communications.

• Create equipment layouts and diagrams for CCTV systems, which include cameras, racks, switches, and NVRs.

• Prepare and update technical documentation associated with projects.

• Organize and standardize technical files for better accessibility.

• Manage project and document revisions effectively.

• Ensure that technical teams have access to the most recent versions of files.

• Maintain the organization and standardization of technical deliverables.

• Join the Engineering and Projects team at a technology-focused company.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed or ongoing technical education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, Building Construction, or a related field.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.

• Technical understanding of structured cabling and EIA/TIA standards.

• Familiarity with CCTV systems.

• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering or architectural drawings.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience in creating and updating technical drawings.

• Experience in reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings.

• Experience with AutoCAD 2D.

• Knowledge of CCTV, structured cabling, and infrastructure design.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple files, documentation, and revision control.

• Commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality outcomes.

• Professional experience of 3 to 5 years is preferred.
