This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide remote support to the DISA Defense Information Systems Agency as a Documentation Specialist.
• Collect, evaluate, and draft technical information.
• Perform research and ensure the application of accurate technical terminology.
• Convert technical details into clear, understandable documents suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• For applications designed to operate in a Windows environment, utilize the standard help compiler to generate all online documentation.
• Offer IT services along with technical and management expertise across applications, software, hardware, infrastructure, systems, operations, application development, maintenance, technical support, and lifecycle management.
• A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in technical writing and documentation related to all facets of IT.
• Experience in creating technical documentation, including researching applicable standards.
• Proven ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Relevant certification from a recognized national technical authority.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• US Citizenship is required.
