This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team of skilled professionals in Product and Technical Service for DLS/VRF controls support.
• Set objectives and guidelines for Controls specialists across North America.
• Address escalated complex technical issues and oversee technical assessments.
• Implement initiatives for continuous improvement of DLS/VRF Controls Products.
• Participate in business process development and create procedures to achieve business goals.
• Mentor experienced dispatchers and/or team leaders, providing feedback to enhance capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams on controls development.
• Act as a subject matter expert for industry controls solutions.
• Manage complex inquiries from high-profile clients.
• Optimize resource allocation for cost efficiency and coordinate activities effectively.
• Track performance metrics to meet productivity objectives.
• Synthesize analytic results and present findings to management.
• Address complex customer issues and escalate more intricate matters as necessary.
• Guide and support team members in both routine and complex tasks.
• Assist the Digital team in enhancing the controls offering and ensuring business-unit alignment.
• Travel frequently, up to 50%, sometimes on short notice, to meet customer requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the DLS/VRF field.
• Over 5 years of experience in VRF Controls integration.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Proficient in troubleshooting all aspects of commercial applied HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, negotiate, and solve problems in high-pressure environments.
• Experience in quality improvement roles involving warranty data/systems.
• Background in positions requiring technical presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Strong examples of effective written and verbal communication skills.
