This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead a team of skilled professionals in Product and Technical Service for DLS/VRF controls support.
• Set objectives and guidelines for Controls specialists throughout North America.
• Address escalated complex technical issues and supervise technical analysis.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives for DLS/VRF Controls Products.
• Participate in the development of business processes and procedures to achieve business goals.
• Mentor experienced dispatchers and/or team leaders, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams on controls development.
• Act as a subject matter expert for industry controls solutions.
• Manage intricate calls with high-profile clients.
• Allocate resources effectively for cost efficiency and coordinate activities.
• Track performance metrics to meet productivity targets.
• Aggregate analytical results and present findings to management.
• Address complex customer issues and escalate more challenging problems as necessary.
• Guide and mentor team members on both routine and complex assignments.
• Assist the Digital team in refining the controls offering and ensuring business unit alignment.
• Travel frequently, up to 50%, sometimes on short notice, to fulfill customer requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of field experience with DLS/VRF systems.
• At least 5 years of experience with VRF Controls integration.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
• Proficient in troubleshooting all components of commercial applied HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively resolve conflicts, negotiate, and solve problems in high-pressure situations.
• Experience in quality improvement roles, particularly with warranty data and systems.
• Background in positions that require technical presentations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Proven track record of strong written and verbal communication skills.
