DLP Strategy Consultant, Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Develop the target-state Data Loss Prevention (DLP) architecture across endpoints, networks, email, cloud, and collaboration platforms.

• Establish DLP policies, data classification strategies, detection logic, and operating frameworks.

• Ensure collaboration and alignment among security engineering, infrastructure, data governance, legal/compliance, and business teams.

• Lead architecture workshops and facilitate both technical and business design decisions.

• Provide expert advice on Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, and Symantec DLP architecture, including coexistence and migration strategies.

• Generate architectural documentation, decision records, reference designs, and roadmaps.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, balancing security, compliance, and business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention, data protection, or information security consulting.

• Demonstrated expertise in designing enterprise-scale DLP solutions from strategic planning through architectural implementation.

• Strong practical knowledge of at least two of the following: Microsoft Purview (Information Protection / DLP), Zscaler (ZIA / ZPA / CASB), Symantec DLP.

• Deep understanding of data classification, sensitivity labeling, and content inspection processes.

• Experience in designing DLP solutions across endpoints, email, cloud, web, and collaboration platforms.

• Proven ability to facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders and influence architectural decisions.

• Exceptional communication skills in English.
