Divisional Vice President

📋 Description

• Lead a comprehensive, multi-tiered regional sales team through a direct store delivery distributor network.

• Propel good2grow sales and expansion within the designated region.

• Implement the business strategy to meet specified targets and objectives.

• Enhance distributor operational excellence across both existing and new business ventures.

• Cultivate relationships with distributor brand managers, sales leaders, and ownership.

• Establish and sustain connections with good2grow account teams and the Vice President of National Accounts.

• Formulate, execute, and oversee annual distributor business planning and fiscal budgeting.

• Manage regional profit and loss, as well as SG&A budgeting while achieving volume and market-share goals.

• Facilitate monthly and quarterly joint business alignment meetings to assess KPIs and scorecards.

• Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting for the designated region and clientele.

• Direct distributor training, sales meeting presentations, distributor collaborations, and senior-level discussions.

• Spearhead customer-focused processes and resolve issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Develop larger chains, local chains, and independent markets.

• Target new and void accounts using good2grow data, analytics, and distributor resources.

• Enhance store presence through shelving and multiple points of consumer engagement.

• Increase the availability of good2grow SKUs in the marketplace.

• Cultivate selling skills within the team and manage third-party broker resources.

• Promote team utilization of VIP Karma and Microsoft Viva Engage for tracking and executing store visits.

• Coordinate promotional execution, distribution opportunities, Attack and Defend reporting, and store-level goals.

• Collaborate with National Accounts, Business Insights and Analytics, Finance, Customer Service, and Trade Accounting.

• Oversee and manage employee activities; coach, mentor, and develop team members.

• Conduct performance evaluations and individual development plans.

• Encourage teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration through regular meetings and leading by example.

• Complete administrative responsibilities, communication recaps, distributor follow-ups, and weekly regional updates.

• Manage chargebacks, deductions, unsalable products, logistics, expenses, POS inventory, scorecards, and planner updates.

• Lead special projects and initiatives as designated.


⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in TN, NC, VA, WV, PA, DC, MD, DE, NJ, CT, RI, NY, MA, NH, VT, or ME.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

• Over 15 years of experience in sales, merchandising, direct store delivery, or supplier sales.

• Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.

• At least 5 years of sales leadership experience managing a multi-level team.

• Strong analytical mindset with decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to influence and communicate clearly across diverse audiences.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

• Strong time management and project management abilities.

• High level of organization, enthusiasm, and attention to detail.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Competent in presenting before groups and senior leadership.

• Strong background in data analysis.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

• Beverage industry experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with Direct Store Delivery Systems is preferred.

• Experience with National Key Accounts is preferred.
