Divisional Reliability Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct reliability projects within the OSB/CP division.

• Ensure peak asset performance, reduce equipment downtime, and increase production efficiency.

• Implement Principle Based Management to cultivate and empower a diverse workforce.

• Promote continuous enhancement and drive sustainable value generation.

• Utilize data-driven approaches and industry best practices to optimize asset availability and uphold asset health.

• Establish adherence to the BP Asset Maintenance Work Process (AMWP).

• Uphold safety and environmental standards while reducing operational risks.

• Design, execute, and perpetually enhance divisional reliability asset strategies, standards, and programs.

• Guide, mentor, and develop Regional Reliability Leaders across various locations.

• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Safety teams to identify reliability challenges and create mitigation strategies.

• Employ RCM, RCA, FMEA, and PdM methodologies to elevate asset health and reliability.

• Manage reliability enhancement initiatives at both segment and site levels.

• Partner with the Collaborative Support Center and the OSB/CP division ACO/DPO team.

• Identify non-compliant assets and implement asset health improvement initiatives.

• Develop effective remote monitoring strategies.

• Prepare and present reliability performance reports to senior management and stakeholders at the divisional level.

• Apply economic reasoning and marginal analysis.

• Build trustworthy relationships, offer constructive feedback, and ensure accountability among team members.

• Encourage inclusion, challenge, and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in reliability engineering, operations, or maintenance management.

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity.

• Ideally, experience with PBM or similar principle-based frameworks.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Skill in fostering an inclusive and challenge-oriented environment.

• Demonstrated expertise in reliability engineering tools and techniques, such as RCM, RCA, FMEA, PdM, and CMMS.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in interpreting complex data to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Experience with reliability software tools and data visualization applications.

• Previous work in wood products manufacturing facilities, particularly in OSB/CP manufacturing, is preferred.

• Experience with MP2 as a CMMS is preferred.

• Familiarity with IoT, Industry 4.0, and predictive analytics is preferred.

• Project management experience is preferred.

• Willingness to travel 50% to various facilities within the division.

• Must successfully pass a drug screening where applicable.
