This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +2 more states.
• Formulate and implement strategic and tactical plans to surpass sales objectives.
• Take ownership of strategy and sales for the Hematology division.
• Recruit, allocate resources, and oversee the performance of the sales team.
• Lead a team of Hematology Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate with the Targeted Accounts Team and the Solid Tumor Franchise.
• Attract, hire, and retain talented Hematology Sales Representatives.
• Select and guide Hematology Sales Representatives.
• Act as a subject matter expert in the Hematology & Oncology market.
• Foster a culture of ongoing learning and development.
• Assist the Commercial Team with competency-enhancing learning programs.
• Conduct training sessions focused on clear communication, advanced analytics, and customer service.
• Build genuine relationships with the team grounded in openness, vulnerability, and trust.
• Navigate change effectively and drive team performance successfully.
• Oversee the Tristate Territory for the Hematology Division covering NY/NJ/CT.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Director.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales and sales management is preferred.
• Extensive Hematology experience with a solid record of success in a management capacity.
• Background in specialty sales.
• Knowledge of reimbursement, distribution, and managed care processes.
• Experience with national/corporate accounts, managed markets, hospital markets, various sites of care, IV medications, injectables, orals, and Medicare Part D.
• Broad experience in commercial roles, including marketing, sales operations, training, national/corporate accounts, managed markets, and hospital markets.
• Proficient in measuring and analyzing key performance indicators, such as ROI and KPIs.
• Familiarity with CRM software.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Expertise in conducting crucial conversations.
• Experience leading teams in a matrixed environment.
• Strong experience in strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration.
