This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Report directly to the Region Field Sales Director within the market.
• Lead a team of Territory Managers to maximize sales potential.
• Enhance sales execution within retail chain locations, independent convenience stores, and specialty retailers.
• Implement the sales strategy to drive distribution, reduce out-of-stock situations, improve product placement, and meet other sales KPIs.
• Lead and nurture a team of high-performing Territory Managers to achieve business goals.
• Plan, organize, and execute sales strategies and Territory plans across the Division.
• Evaluate successes and setbacks, creating actionable plans for ongoing improvement.
• Coach and mentor Territory Managers through goal-setting, personalized feedback, joint sales calls, individual coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
• Synthesize and communicate Division-level insights and business intelligence with the Territory Manager team, Division Managers, Regional Sales Leadership, and support functions.
• Achieve company, regional, and individual KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with company HQ, regional HQ, Trade Marketing, Distribution Management, Key Accounts, and other teams.
• Maintain a solid understanding of relevant local and state regulations and taxes, guiding Territory Managers to optimize outcomes in local markets.
• At least 4 years of prior field sales experience, ideally managing teams of territory sales representatives.
• Proven sales management abilities, demonstrated by exceptional knowledge of the CPG retail landscape.
• Strong skills in motivating and managing people, with a talent for hands-on coaching and personal development.
• Proficient in utilizing sales technologies and software, such as SalesForce and Tableau, to analyze and act on critical data.
• Capable of effectively communicating using PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, and similar tools.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and take the initiative to be solutions-oriented.
• Industry experience in Tobacco or other regulated sectors.
• Previous experience in sales leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
