Division Account Specialist – Pneumatic & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Drive sales, identify opportunities, and create leads for a diverse range of customers.

• Collaborate with Account Representatives in a designated territory to offer in-depth product-group expertise.

• Educate customers about Motion Industries products through engaging technical presentations.

• Enhance revenue and profitability by acquiring new business and nurturing existing accounts.

• Engage in face-to-face interactions with customers to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.

• Comprehend customer needs and prepare tailored quotes accordingly.

• Present sales proposals and confirm that technical requirements are fulfilled.

• Assist in on-site troubleshooting of customer issues.

• Identify, quote, engineer, and finalize product and solution sales with local clientele.

• Provide technical assistance as needed.

• Coordinate with vendor resources to cultivate relationships and bolster sales efforts.

• Travel and be available on-call during nights or weekends when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically necessitates a bachelor's degree along with three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.

• Familiarity with industrial products, including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other industrial items.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong understanding of essential sales principles and industry best practices.

• Capability to influence customers while fostering positive relationships.

• Proactive approach and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Competence in multitasking and effective time management.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Travel is a requirement for this position.

• Availability for on-call duties during nights or weekends may be necessary based on demand.

• A valid driver's license is required.
