πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate with sales teams to achieve and surpass sales targets by developing and executing strategic technical account plans.

β€’ Present, illustrate, and design security architectures within the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.

β€’ Design complex network security, security operations, and cloud security frameworks.

β€’ Facilitate customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks security platform.

β€’ Undertake technical discovery and align solutions with customer needs.

β€’ Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, technical workshops, and product showcases.

β€’ Work alongside Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist, Customer Support, and Channel Partner teams.

β€’ Articulate complex security concepts to both technical professionals and executive leadership.

β€’ Advocate for comprehensive security solutions and partner professional services.

β€’ Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging security threats.

β€’ Cultivate technical knowledge and contribute to the District Systems Engineer community and industry events.

β€’ Assist in cross-training initiatives across SOC, Cloud, Networking, and NetSec.

β€’ Progress towards portfolio architect and CTO/CIO/CISO-level leadership roles.

β€’ Design and architect extensive, intricate environments.

β€’ Establish and maintain robust customer relationships leveraging consulting expertise.

β€’ Mentor junior Systems Engineers.

β€’ Travel up to 50% within the designated district and attend in-person customer meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales/sales engineering or completion of the SC Academy.

β€’ Knowledge of data networking, security architectures, and contemporary cloud computing environments.

β€’ Preferred experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.

β€’ Ability to influence and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.

β€’ Previous experience in a pre-sales role is advantageous.

β€’ Skilled in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation sessions.

β€’ Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.

β€’ Experience collaborating with Customer Support teams for implementation and adoption.

β€’ Preferred experience in complex sales with lengthy sales cycles, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions.

β€’ Proficient in English.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned district.

β€’ Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas.
