This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Implement and uphold the effectiveness of the quality system.
• Guide, mentor, and direct staff in delivering direct service and support to Abbott Diagnostics Division customers and other clients.
• Enhance the image and promotion of ADD products through exceptional customer service and support.
• Utilize knowledge of diagnostic systems and products within customer settings.
• Ensure that documentation, records, and data are accurately collected and maintained.
• Operate within financial budget constraints while assisting in budget development.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure staff training on necessary applications.
• Suggest operational enhancements based on industry trends and customer concerns.
• Execute processes and procedures that align with business goals.
• Monitor product complaints and reliability, recommending service improvements as needed.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff while completing performance reviews and development planning.
• Build, inspire, and evaluate an effective team.
• Make staffing decisions and manage reward and recognition programs.
• Engage with customers, field service/support personnel, and local sales teams.
• Negotiate with customers to address service issues and enhance relationships.
• Coordinate support levels with service, support, and sales districts.
• Analyze departmental challenges, performance data, trends, and business impacts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and timely staffing of qualified candidates.
• Contribute to budgeting and planning processes and identify project resource needs.
• Must reside in the Virginia area.
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Familiarity with regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
• Bachelor's degree with 4–5 years of customer support experience, preferably in the diagnostics sector or laboratory environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Ability to operate in compliance with FDA and other regulatory agency requirements.
