This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +4 more states.
• Oversee the designated territory and meet both monthly and annual sales objectives.
• Assist OEM clients, installers, integrators, design firms, cable assemblers, and authorized channel partners with LAPP product solutions.
• Manage customer pipelines and strategically plan daily, weekly, and monthly sales calls utilizing CRM, Time and Territory Management, and mobile app tools.
• Provide channel support for OEM opportunities and project business.
• Offer technical assistance for customer design specifications.
• Leverage Inside Sales, Product Management, and Marketing resources to expand territory opportunities.
• Oversee order processing and ensure that customer delivery expectations are fulfilled.
• Coordinate joint end-user sales engagements with territory colleagues.
• Engage with OEM representatives to collect account data, showcase LAPP solutions for power and data transmission needs, and secure test and trial proposals.
• Collaborate with LAPP technical staff and customer engineers to integrate LAPP products into designs, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Build relationships with installation subcontractors and OEM purchasing departments to obtain product and solution contracts.
• Follow up with installation teams to ensure comprehension of installation needs and timely receipt of cables, glands, and connectors as required.
• Address service gaps encountered during installation.
• Conduct follow-ups with OEM engineers, purchasing teams, and installers post-project to evaluate satisfaction and gather references.
• Maintain customer relationships for repeat orders and new installations.
• Travel regularly across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training; or a suitable combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in selling Cable Assemblies/Harnessing, Industrial Data cables, and/or connector products, along with their applications.
• A demonstrated history of successful business development.
• Established experience in selling Industrial Data cables and/or EPIC connector products, with a technical understanding of their applications.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication.
• Solid technical experience and background.
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Lotus Notes and internet software.
• Willingness to travel frequently by car or air, including overnight trips; approximately 3–4 days of travel per week.
• A valid driver's license and passport are required to be maintained.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Capability to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts, financial ratios, and business equations.
• Skill in defining problems, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
