This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Cultivate distributor businesses within designated territories.
• Facilitate training sessions and field meetings with distributors.
• Effectively onboard new distributors.
• Perform route assessments within the territory.
• Propel sales and growth in the assigned territory.
• Meet the annual operating plan by enhancing route averages and recruiting additional distributors.
• Conduct work-withs and truck ride-alongs 3–4 days a week to mentor and support distributors.
• Attract and maintain distributors in the Mac Tools sector.
• Implement a two-week ride-along training program for new distributors.
• Finalize the field start process for new distributors and follow up as necessary.
• Develop and mentor distributors as instructed by the Regional Manager and Regional Business Analyst.
• Hold monthly Field Excellence Meetings with the entire district.
• Participate in Student Tech shows.
• Manage regional credits and adjustments.
• Execute route surveys for new starts and as requested by the Regional Manager.
• Monitor district sales plans, distributor success, and regional retention metrics.
• A minimum of 5 years in route/field sales experience.
• At least 2 years of management experience overseeing multiple field/route sales professionals.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within the designated sales territory.
• Willingness to reside in the sales territory.
• Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check, including employment verification, criminal history, educational background, and driving record.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to lift and handle 20 pounds consistently.
• Ability to frequently lift and handle 35 pounds.
• Ability to often lift and handle 45 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift and handle 50 pounds.
• Capability to move around inside a tool truck.
• Ability to climb and descend stairs at least 20 times per work-with.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to position oneself in low positions and/or under objects.
• Must be able to consistently operate a vehicle, laptop, and mobile phone.
• Must communicate effectively in person and in writing.
• BA in business or a related field is preferred.
• Previous mobile tool sales industry experience is preferred.
• Proven success in recruiting new talent is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills are preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in time management, business acumen, and relationship-building is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local automotive repair market is preferred.
• Experience with small business ownership or coaching/mentoring small business owners is preferred.
