This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee a well-established territory in North Carolina while identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships and increase market share.
• Collaborate with builders, explore direct sales opportunities, and engage with new clients to meet their business requirements.
• Sustain existing business while seeking and cultivating new opportunities.
• Represent metal building systems across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets.
• Facilitate customer education and training programs for contractors.
• Work in partnership with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Handle a high volume of customer interactions and transactions effectively.
• Travel within the designated territory to meet customers on a regular basis.
• Previous experience in the pre-engineered metal building sector.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated sales/marketing or sales management experience, or 2+ years in Building Materials.
• Background in estimating, inside sales, engineering, or project management is advantageous.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and consistent follow-up with customers.
• Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple opportunities, and working autonomously.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, customer-centric sales environment.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to meet customers regularly throughout the territory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn and adapt to various proprietary systems and technologies.
• Frequent travel within the assigned territory is expected, averaging 50–70%.
• Occasional lifting of product samples and materials may be necessary.
