This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee an established territory in North Carolina, identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships and increase market share.
• Foster connections with builders, pursue direct-sale opportunities, and engage new clients.
• Sustain existing business while actively seeking and developing new prospects.
• Represent metal building systems across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets.
• Implement customer education initiatives and conduct training programs for contractors.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Manage a significant volume of customer interactions and transactions.
• Travel within the assigned territory to meet customers on a regular basis.
• Experience in the pre-engineered metal building industry.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated sales/marketing or sales management experience, or 2 years in Building Materials.
• Background in estimating, inside sales, engineering, or project management is advantageous.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and consistent follow-up with customers.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple opportunities, and work autonomously.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, customer-oriented sales environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Willingness to meet with customers regularly throughout the territory.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• High level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Capacity to learn and adapt to various proprietary systems and technologies.
• Frequent travel across the assigned territory, averaging 50–70%.
• Occasional lifting of product samples and materials may be necessary.
