This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Achieve sales revenue and enhance market penetration within the designated Northeast Nebraska territory.
• Implement district business and territory strategies to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Recruit, nurture, and sustain a robust dealer network that aligns with the company's distribution strategy.
• Establish and foster relationships with dealers and growers.
• Offer agronomic recommendations and guidance on product placement.
• Advocate for the brand's positioning, value proposition, and customer experience.
• Mentor dealers on effective selling techniques, marketing initiatives, and service protocols.
• Collaborate with sales, market development, and marketing teams on branded events and dealer programs.
• Utilize CRM and internal systems for managing sales, inventory, and customer information.
• Manage order bank processes, returns, dumps, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor product performance and respond to customer inquiries.
• Relay trends to the Area Sales Manager and Agronomy team.
• Organize test plots, field days, and branded events.
• Maintain company vehicles and adhere to company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Candidates must reside within the assigned Northeast Nebraska territory or within a 30-mile radius.
• At least 3 years of professional agricultural sales experience, ideally in the seed industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to coach and inspire dealers to uphold brand standards and enhance customer experience.
• Expertise in developing and executing business and territory plans to meet sales objectives.
• Ability to manage deadlines related to order bank, returns, dumps, and account reconciliation.
• Proficient in interpreting data and making informed decisions.
• Familiarity with the seed industry and agronomic practices is preferred.
• Capability to work autonomously and excel in a fast-paced environment.
• A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy, ag business, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification as a Crop Advisor (CCA) is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, comply with company MVR requirements, and maintain CMV standards.
• Willingness to work required hours and travel as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Some overnight travel is required.
