This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee commercial activities within field teams to boost sales in a designated region.
• Develop, execute, and share the District Sales Plan while tracking its progress.
• Manage in-field operations to meet established goals and targets.
• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line results.
• Ensure effective collaboration for everyday and long-term business operations.
• Establish the tone and tempo for business processes and organization.
• Present market insights and franchise/business viewpoints while leading teams.
• Facilitate in-field meetings by demonstrating expertise in product knowledge, disease states, and managed-care information.
• Guide, mentor, educate, and cultivate both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their actions and expectations.
• Provide guidance and insights to internal partners during the business planning process.
• Consistently embody the AbbVie Ways of Working.
• Preferred bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.
• At least four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management; external management experience may also be considered.
• Strong business analysis and planning capabilities that enhance sales performance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a District Manager.
• Compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Currently meeting performance benchmarks.

• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in articulating the scientific elements of treatments and therapeutic areas.
• Proven track record in providing constructive, effective feedback and efficiently managing performance.

• Capacity to foster a culture of success and complete team engagement.
• Must meet all relevant health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
