This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Facilitate commercial operations within field teams to enhance sales in the designated region.
• Develop, execute, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking progress.
• Organize in-field activities to meet objectives and agreed-upon goals.
• Optimize market dynamics, segments, and team interactions to boost top- and bottom-line performance.
• Ensure seamless collaboration for day-to-day operations and long-term business strategies.
• Establish the tone and rhythm for business processes and organizational structure.
• Present market insights and franchise/business viewpoints when leading teams.
• Lead in-field meetings by acquiring expertise in product, disease-state, and managed-care information.
• Mentor, coach, educate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable to established behaviors and expectations.
• Offer guidance and insights to key internal stakeholders during business planning sessions.
• Consistently embody the AbbVie Ways of Working.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• At least four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management; external management experience may be considered.
• Proficient in business analysis and planning skills that enhance sales performance.
• In good standing with safety and compliance regulations.
• Currently meeting performance standards.

• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to articulate the scientific features of treatments and therapeutic areas.

• Meet all applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Maintain good standing and/or be eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
