This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee commercial operations within field teams to enhance sales in a designated region.

• Develop, execute, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking its progress.

• Coordinate field activities to meet results and established targets.

• Leverage market, segment, and team dynamics to boost top- and bottom-line performance.

• Ensure effective collaboration in daily operations and long-term business execution.

• Establish the tone and pace for business processes and organizational structure.

• Present market insights and franchise/business viewpoints when leading teams.

• Attain expertise in product knowledge, disease states, and managed-care information.

• Guide, mentor, educate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.

• Hold direct reports accountable for their actions and performance expectations.

• Provide guidance and insights to internal partners during business planning activities.

• Embody AbbVie’s Ways of Working in all interactions.

• Operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• Strong business analysis and planning capabilities that enhance sales performance.

• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills.

• Ability to clearly articulate scientific details regarding treatments and therapeutic areas.

• Proven track record of delivering candid, effective feedback and successfully managing performance.

• Capacity to cultivate talent for promotional opportunities.

• Skill in fostering a culture of success and full team engagement.

• Proficient in collaborating and influencing without formal authority across various organizations.

• Ability to exemplify AbbVie’s Ways of Working.

• Valid driver’s license and capability to adhere to safe driving standards.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing criteria for assigned facilities and organizations.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to acquire necessary HCIR credentials.

• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunization/vaccination, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be required.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
