πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Oversee the development and implementation of customer-focused district strategies and coordinated business plans for the district.

β€’ Supervise Sales Specialists directly, which includes responsibilities for hiring, onboarding, performance management, and compensation processes.

β€’ Offer both field-based and virtual coaching to enhance selling effectiveness, clinical execution, and territory business planning.

β€’ Lead initiatives for demand generation and care transitions across various settings, including local community hospitals where applicable.

β€’ Maintain in-depth knowledge of approved clinical information and guidelines relevant to the Neuroscience portfolio.

β€’ Analyze district performance, market trends, and execution inputs to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.

β€’ Transform insights into clear priorities and actionable steps.

β€’ Collaborate with Sales leadership, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to synchronize execution and enhance the customer experience.

β€’ Establish performance and behavioral expectations, address shortcomings, and promote accountability, inclusion, and team effectiveness.

β€’ Comply with healthcare regulations and exemplify a strong compliance-oriented mindset.

β€’ Utilize approved AI-driven tools to improve planning, identify opportunities, and gain performance insights while ensuring privacy, data integrity, and adherence to policies.

β€’ Manage staffing, team development, local strategic initiatives, customer interactions, budgets, and expenses within the designated customer base.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; MS/MBA/PhD is preferred.

β€’ A valid driver’s license issued in one of the fifty United States is required.

β€’ At least six years of relevant professional experience in sales and/or cross-functional commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sectors.

β€’ Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight and weekend trips.

β€’ Must either reside in the specified geography or be open to relocating to that area.

β€’ Proven experience in driving cross-functional alignment, removing obstacles, and mobilizing resources to achieve shared district objectives.

β€’ Proven ability to gain commitment and drive action through guided leadership, setting clear expectations, and leading teams through change with accountability and empathy.

β€’ Demonstrated experience in structured coaching that includes development objectives, timely feedback, and follow-up leading to sustained improvement.

β€’ Experience in providing ongoing feedback and creating opportunities for learning and development.

β€’ Ability to translate business objectives and data into actionable district plans, priorities, and execution expectations.

β€’ Experience utilizing performance data and insights to identify gaps, make informed decisions, and coach others, including the use of approved AI-enabled tools while ensuring privacy, data integrity, and policy compliance.

β€’ Preferred experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic area.

β€’ Preferred experience in large account management and access and reimbursement.

β€’ Direct people-management experience is preferred.

β€’ A commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI is preferred.

β€’ Experience in building team AI literacy and confidence is preferred.
