This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
β’ Spearhead the development and implementation of a district strategy centered on customer needs and a coordinated business plan for the district.
β’ Directly oversee Sales Specialists, including responsibilities for hiring, onboarding, performance management, and executing compensation strategies.
β’ Deliver field-based and virtual coaching aimed at enhancing selling effectiveness, clinical execution, and territory planning.
β’ Drive demand generation and manage care transitions across various settings, including local community hospitals, as necessary.
β’ Maintain comprehensive knowledge of approved clinical information and pertinent guidelines related to the Neuroscience portfolio.
β’ Evaluate district performance, market dynamics, and execution inputs to pinpoint gaps and opportunities.
β’ Collaborate with Sales leadership, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to ensure coordinated execution and enhance the customer experience.
β’ Establish performance and behavioral expectations, address shortcomings, and promote accountability, inclusion, and team effectiveness.
β’ Exemplify and reinforce compliance with healthcare policies and guidelines.
β’ Utilize approved AI-enabled tools to enhance planning, opportunity identification, and performance insights while ensuring privacy, data integrity, and policy compliance.
β’ Oversee staffing, team development, local strategic planning, resource allocation, customer interactions, budgets, and expenses.
β’ A minimum of a Bachelorβs Degree is required; MS/MBA/PhD is preferred.
β’ A valid driver's license from one of the fifty United States is necessary.
β’ At least six years of relevant professional experience in sales and/or cross-functional commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare sectors.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 50%, which may include overnight and weekend travel.
β’ Must reside in or be open to relocating to the Southwest region.
β’ Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment, eliminate barriers, and mobilize resources effectively.
β’ Experience in leading others through guided leadership, setting clear expectations, managing change, ensuring accountability, and demonstrating empathy.
β’ Proficiency in conducting structured coaching that includes development objectives, timely feedback, and follow-up.
β’ Ability to provide ongoing feedback and foster learning and development opportunities.
β’ Experience in translating business goals and data into actionable district plans and priorities.
β’ Skilled in using performance data and insights to identify gaps, make informed decisions, and coach others.
β’ Preferred: experience in the Neuroscience therapeutic area.
β’ Preferred: background in managing large accounts and understanding access and reimbursement dynamics.
β’ Preferred: previous experience in direct people management.
β’ Preferred: dedication to learning about emerging technologies such as AI.
β’ Preferred: experience in enhancing team AI literacy and confidence.
β’ Commission-based sales role.
