This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Facilitate commercial operations within field teams to boost sales in a designated geographic area.
• Develop, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan.
• Track progress towards achieving sales objectives.
• Organize in-field activities to meet established targets.
• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top- and bottom-line performance.
• Ensure seamless collaboration for daily operations and long-term business execution.
• Establish the tone and tempo for business processes and organizational structure.
• Provide market and franchise/business insights while leading teams.
• Lead in-field meetings by demonstrating expertise in product knowledge, disease states, and managed-care information.
• Coach, mentor, educate, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their behaviors and expectations.
• Offer direction and insights to key internal partners during business planning activities.
• Consistently embody AbbVie's Ways of Working.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• Business analysis and planning capabilities that enhance sales performance.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to communicate scientific details regarding treatments and therapeutic areas.
• Demonstrated ability to provide honest, effective feedback and manage performance efficiently.
• Skill in developing talent for promotional opportunities.

• Must fulfill applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain necessary HCIR credentials.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must adhere to safe driving standards.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material handling equipment.
