This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as a primary contact point within Reyes Beer Distributors in Virginia, including Premium Chantilly, Premium of Richmond, and Chesbay Distributing.
• Assist in the creation of annual business plans and drive the achievement of DGY annual and zone business goals.
• Execute approved business plans and strategies within the designated territory.
• Communicate and implement programs at both wholesale and retail levels to meet sales, distribution, promotional, and merchandising targets.
• Maintain consistent call frequency with assigned wholesalers and retailers.
• Formulate local market strategies and lead support for Yuengling objectives alongside distributor management and sales teams.
• Provide guidance and assistance to distributors, manage retail execution strategies, and initiate market activities.
• Monitor product inventory levels and ensure proper inventory rotation.
• Conduct quarterly reviews addressing distribution, sales volume, pricing, execution opportunities, competitive activities, retailer and chain trends, and co-op budget management.
• Develop and oversee retail execution, sampling, merchandising, point-of-sale, pricing, and distribution initiatives.
• Identify underperforming packages and create corrective action programs.
• Establish distribution targets and compile key account target lists.
• Prepare distribution progress reports along with summaries of meetings, retail days, budgets, and opportunities.
• Deliver sales presentations and facilitate planning meetings with distributor sales teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including National/Chain Account Managers, Marketing, and Brewery Operations.
• Troubleshoot draft beer systems when qualified.
• Manage distributor bill-back processes.
• Engage with consumers and retailers regarding various issues while participating in events, trade shows, and retail activities.
• Must reside within the Fredericksburg, VA to Richmond, VA area.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent job experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Capability to articulate clearly and persuasively in all circumstances.
• Strong listening skills and effective group presentation capabilities.
• Proficient in basic trade mathematics.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work tasks, pay attention to detail, manage time efficiently, and establish goals and objectives.
• Competence in following instructions and responding appropriately to management directives.
• Capacity to take independent actions and make calculated risks.
• Demonstrated creativity and original thinking.
• Must be a collaborative team player and highly self-driven.
• Valid driver’s license with a commendable driving record.
• Willingness to work traditional and non-traditional business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for overnight travel.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VIP, and mobile industry applications.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds.
