This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee commercial operations within field teams to boost sales in the designated region.

• Develop, execute, and share the District Sales Plan while tracking its progress.

• Organize in-field activities to meet established objectives and targets.

• Leverage market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line outcomes.

• Ensure efficient and cooperative daily and long-term execution of business strategies.

• Establish the tone and pace for business processes and organizational structure.

• Provide market insights and franchise/business perspectives when leading teams.

• Attain a deep understanding of product, disease states, market trends, and managed-care information.

• Guide, mentor, educate, and nurture both direct and indirect team members.

• Hold direct reports accountable for their behaviors and performance expectations.

• Offer guidance and insights to key internal stakeholders in business planning.

• Embody the AbbVie Ways of Working.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.

• A minimum of four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management; external management experience may also be considered.

• Strong business analysis and planning skills that enhance sales performance.

• Demonstrated experience as a District Manager with proven leadership capabilities.

• In good standing with safety and compliance standards.

• Currently meeting performance expectations.

• Living the AbbVie Way and effectively showcasing the Leadership Attributes.

• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Capacity to articulate the scientific details of treatments and therapeutic areas.

• Proven track record in delivering honest, effective feedback and managing performance effectively.

• Ability to cultivate talent for promotional opportunities.

• Skill in fostering a culture of success and full team engagement.

• Must meet relevant healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain these credentials.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
