This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee commercial operations within in-field teams to meet designated sales objectives.
• Develop, execute, and communicate the District Sales Strategy while tracking its progress.
• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top- and bottom-line performance.
• Facilitate smooth, collaborative daily operations and long-term business initiatives.
• Establish the tone and pace for business processes and organizational structure.
• Provide market and franchise/business insights when guiding teams.
• Lead in-field meetings by mastering product knowledge, disease states, and managed-care information.
• Coach, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect team members.
• Hold direct reports accountable for their behaviors and performance expectations.
• Offer direction and insights to key internal stakeholders during business planning sessions.
• Exemplify AbbVie's Ways of Working principles.
• Manage the dermatology/immunology district, which includes Philadelphia, Allentown, Lancaster, and the Eastern Shore of Delaware.
• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• At least four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management; external management experience may be acceptable.
• Strong business analysis and planning skills that enhance sales performance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience as a District Manager.
• Compliance with safety and regulatory standards is essential.
• Must currently meet performance expectations.

• Possess excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to clearly communicate the scientific details of treatments and therapeutic areas.

• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing standards, including maintaining good standing and/or eligibility for necessary credentials.
• Required to pass background checks, drug screenings, immunization/vaccination verification, fingerprinting, and any specific state or city licenses necessary for facility access, when applicable.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and adhere to safe driving requirements.
• Must reside within a reasonable distance from Philadelphia, Allentown, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, or the Eastern Shore of Delaware.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
