District Manager – Commercial Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement sales strategies within the current customer base and assigned competitive accounts to meet growth objectives.

• Collaborate with existing and potential customers in Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and Vancouver Island to identify business needs and propose strategies for ongoing improvement and innovation.

• Cultivate relationships with executives at plants and facilities, as well as other key stakeholders.

• Deliver technical support by diagnosing and addressing customer challenges and escalating issues when necessary.

• Perform system analyses, interpret data, and deliver written recommendations to optimize customer operations.

• Provide training for customers on Cesco products.

• Ensure correct functionality of application equipment and troubleshoot operational challenges.

• Advocate for and support Cesco innovations and technologies within assigned accounts.

• Travel locally and across the district to engage with customers and support accounts.

• Report directly to the Regional Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the technical sales sector.

• Ability to review, edit, interpret, and generate detailed sales and service reports.

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with technical teams, product teams, and other business units.

• Familiarity with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in wastewater treatment operations and sales.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, or a related discipline.

• Must be willing to travel 40%-60% throughout the district.

• A clean driving record is required.

• A valid local BC driver's license and proof of insurance must be provided at the time of hire.

• Subject to a background verification process.

• Capability to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

• Ability to stand, talk, hear, walk, and occasionally lift or move various weighted objects.
