District Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Guide store teams to achieve consistent business outcomes, ensuring accountability for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate across various departments and functions to align district performance with corporate objectives.

• Cultivate talent pipelines through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning initiatives.

• Assess district performance utilizing data tools like Power BI to identify challenges and implement action plans for underperforming locations.

• Align priorities, manage resources effectively, and uphold brand and operational standards.

• Foster and promote an inclusive workplace culture.

• Communicate effectively at all levels to influence, engage, and drive alignment.

• Travel frequently to stores within the designated area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Long Island.

• Ability to travel frequently to stores within the designated area.

• Over 5 years of District Management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing store managers, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring consistent adherence to company standards across multiple locations.

• Effective communicator with the ability to inspire teams and facilitate collaboration across functions.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities; capable of managing complexity with confidence.

• Proficient in retail technologies, reporting tools, and productivity systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

• Experience in specialty retail or the apparel industry is preferred.

• Proven success in revitalizing underperforming stores is preferred.

• Familiarity with omnichannel retail and digital engagement strategies is preferred.

• Well-networked within the retail industry with a history of external recruiting is preferred.
