District Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Guide store teams to achieve consistent business outcomes while ensuring accountability for operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Work collaboratively across departments and functions to align district performance with the objectives of the company.

• Cultivate talent pipelines through coaching, mentoring, and the implementation of succession planning.

• Evaluate district performance using data analysis tools like Power BI to identify challenges and execute action plans for underperforming locations.

• Establish priorities, manage resources, and uphold brand and operational standards.

• Foster and promote an inclusive workplace culture.

• Communicate effectively at all levels to influence, engage, and drive alignment.

• Travel frequently to stores within the designated area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of District Management experience, encompassing responsibilities for leading, coaching, and developing store managers, driving sales and profitability, and ensuring the consistent application of company standards across multiple locations.

• Exceptional communicator with the capability to inspire teams and foster collaborations across functions.

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities; adept at managing complexity confidently.

• Proficient in retail technologies, reporting tools, and productivity systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Experience in specialty retail or the apparel industry.

• Proven success in revitalizing underperforming stores.

• Familiarity with omnichannel retail and digital engagement strategies.

• Well-connected within the retail industry, with a strong history of external recruiting.

• Must reside in the Chicago metro area or the Midwest.

• Willingness to travel regularly to stores within the assigned area.
