District Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences by utilizing the Five Below service model.

• Cultivate and maintain a sales-driven culture that achieves district business performance objectives.

• Implement and adhere to company merchandising and operational guidelines.

• Oversee merchandise flow and sales performance.

• Attract, guide, and nurture teams that embody Five Below’s culture.

• Frequently visit stores to acknowledge, coach, and develop leadership talent.

• Promote inclusion, diversity, career advancement, and employee growth.

• Collaborate with Store Managers and Human Resources on employee coaching, counseling, performance documentation, and employee relations.

• Develop recruitment pipelines and succession strategies for the district.

• Drive the district towards sustained business performance and increased productivity.

• Utilize reports and metrics to enhance sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing.

• Equip store managers with knowledge in financial management, critical controls, and company policies.

• Analyze business outcomes and store visits to enhance performance.

• Work closely with corporate partners, including HR, visual operations, and asset protection.

• Adhere to company policies and relevant laws.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in retail management.

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and inspire others.

• Strong business insight and problem-solving capabilities.

• Competence in conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex business challenges.

• Ability to develop business and contingency plans.

• Proficiency in using computers and standard office applications.
