This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Oversee the designated territory and stimulate product demand while upholding Keystone's Light Made Easy commitment.
• Collaborate with sales agencies, distributor clients, and contractors to impart knowledge about Keystone products.
• Manage performance and cultivate enduring relationships with customers, sales agents, and end-users.
• Provide training to sales agencies and distributor clients.
• Build long-lasting connections with specifiers, customers, sales agents, and end-users through outstanding customer service.
• Supervise and manage independent sales agencies to ensure that company objectives and performance benchmarks are achieved.
• Create sales strategies in partnership with sales agencies and departmental leadership.
• Analyze sales patterns, pinpoint opportunities, and devise strategies with sales agents.
• Become an expert in the market regarding Keystone and competitor products, pricing, and trends; relay findings to team management.
• Travel to each market to engage with distributors, specifiers, and end-users while updating sales agents.
• Maintain communication with existing customers to identify potential ongoing orders.
• Develop and manage contact information to keep decision-makers updated.
• Showcase and participate in trade shows.
• Conduct cold calls to generate new business.
• Collaborate closely with Inside Sales on current and future opportunities.
• Provide insights to the product team regarding market trends.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the lighting industry is essential.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including a remarkable ability to listen and respond to others' needs.
• Proficiency in computers and software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software, along with the capability to learn new computer systems.
• Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent relationship management and customer service capabilities.
• Must reside within the specified territory: Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Memphis (West Tennessee).
