This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Manage the designated distributor sales territory
• Drive product demand while upholding Keystone's Light Made Easy commitment
• Collaborate with sales agencies, distributor customers, and contractors to provide education on Keystone products
• Offer sales training to sales agencies and distributor customers
• Build long-term relationships with specifiers, customers, sales agents, and end-users
• Supervise and manage independent sales agency performance in alignment with company goals and standards
• Create sales plans in conjunction with sales agencies and department leadership
• Analyze sales trends and devise strategies to seize opportunities
• Attain expertise in Keystone and competitor products, pricing, and market trends
• Report market insights to team management
• Travel within assigned markets to engage with distributors, specifiers, and end-users
• Maintain contact with existing customers for potential ongoing orders
• Develop and manage contact details for current decision-makers
• Exhibit at and participate in trade shows
• Conduct cold calls to generate new business
• Work collaboratively with Inside Sales on present and future opportunities
• Provide insights to the product team regarding market trends
• A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the lighting industry is mandatory
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Outstanding listening skills with the capability to craft responses that meet the needs of others
• Proficient in computers and software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software
• Ability to quickly learn new computer systems
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and precision
• Strong time management abilities and skill in prioritizing tasks
• Excellent relationship management and customer service skills
• Must reside within the designated territory: Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Memphis (West Tennessee)
• Regular travel within the territory for customer visits
