Distributor Territory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the assigned distributor sales territory.

• Drive product demand while upholding Keystone's Light Made Easy commitment.

• Collaborate with sales agencies, distributor customers, and contractors to educate them on Keystone products.

• Supervise the performance of independent sales agencies to ensure that company objectives and performance standards are achieved.

• Cultivate long-term relationships with specifiers, customers, sales agents, and end-users.

• Provide sales training to sales agencies and distributor customers.

• Create sales plans in partnership with sales agencies and departmental leadership.

• Analyze sales trends, pinpoint opportunities, and formulate strategies to leverage them.

• Monitor Keystone and competitor products, pricing structures, and market trends.

• Report market insights to team management.

• Travel to various markets to engage with distributors, specifiers, and end-users.

• Maintain communication with existing customers for potential repeat orders.

• Manage contact information and keep decision-makers updated.

• Participate in and display at trade shows.

• Conduct cold calls to establish new business.

• Collaborate with Inside Sales on current and upcoming opportunities.

• Provide insights to the product team regarding market trends.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and foster long-term customer relationships.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.

• Required experience in the lighting industry.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Exceptional listening skills and the ability to respond to others' needs effectively.

• Proficiency in computer applications and software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.

• Capability to learn new computer systems quickly.

• Outstanding organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and high accuracy.

• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Exceptional relationship management and customer service capabilities.

• Must reside within the assigned territory: Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Memphis (West Tennessee).

• Willingness and capability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory.
