This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Oversee the designated territory encompassing Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Memphis (West TN).
• Foster product demand while upholding Keystone's Light Made Easy commitment.
• Collaborate with sales agencies, distributor clients, and contractors to inform them about company offerings.
• Monitor performance and cultivate long-term relationships with customers, sales representatives, and end-users.
• Provide training on sales techniques to sales agencies and distributor clients.
• Establish connections with specifiers, customers, sales representatives, and end-users through exemplary customer service.
• Supervise and evaluate independent sales agency performance in alignment with company objectives and standards.
• Create sales strategies in collaboration with sales agencies and department leadership.
• Analyze sales patterns and formulate strategies to seize opportunities.
• Become knowledgeable about Keystone and competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
• Communicate market insights to team management.
• Travel to various markets to engage with distributors, specifiers, and end-users.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients for continuous orders.
• Develop and maintain contact details for key decision-makers.
• Exhibit at and participate in trade shows.
• Conduct cold calls to generate new business.
• Collaborate closely with Inside Sales on ongoing and upcoming opportunities.
• Provide insights to the product team regarding market trends.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in the lighting industry is mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding listening skills with the capability to tailor responses to meet others' needs.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Capability to learn new computer systems swiftly.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
• Must reside within the designated territory: Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Memphis (West TN).
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
