This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Oversee the designated territory and stimulate product demand.
• Collaborate with sales agencies, distributor clients, and contractors to educate them on Keystone products.
• Conduct sales training for sales agencies and distributor clients.
• Build enduring relationships with specifiers, customers, sales representatives, and end-users.
• Supervise and evaluate independent sales agency performance in alignment with company objectives and standards.
• Create sales strategies in partnership with sales agencies and departmental leadership.
• Analyze sales patterns and formulate strategies to seize opportunities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Keystone and competitor products, pricing structures, and market trends.
• Communicate market insights to team management.
• Travel within the territory to engage with distributors, specifiers, and end-users.
• Keep in touch with existing customers for potential repeat orders.
• Develop and maintain contact information for current decision-makers.
• Participate in and showcase at trade shows.
• Initiate cold calls to generate new business.
• Work in conjunction with Inside Sales on both current and future opportunities.
• Provide insights to the product team regarding market trends.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the lighting industry is necessary.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional listening skills with the capability to tailor responses to meet the needs of others.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Ability to quickly learn new computer systems.
• Superior organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent relationship management and customer service skills.
• Must reside within the supported territory: Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, or Memphis (West TN).
• Regular travel within the territory is required.
