This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Propel the sales of the entire Netafim range, with a strong emphasis on Landscape and Greenhouse and Nursery offerings.
• Ensure a strong market presence by engaging in frequent communication with contractors, distribution partners, and other essential stakeholders.
• Oversee the designated sales territory through forecasting, expense planning, market analysis, competitive analysis, and related responsibilities.
• Collaborate with immediate team members to devise territory, market, and project strategies.
• Keep precise territory records within the company CRM system.
• Generate project opportunities and customer quotes utilizing the CRM platform.
• Organize educational seminars and tours, as well as assist with product demonstrations.
• Regularly contact existing and potential customers to secure orders.
• Achieve or surpass sales, net income, and market-share objectives.
• Showcase products, create local sales tools, and develop marketing initiatives.
• Aid in crafting sales presentations, documentation, and marketing or sales materials.
• Educate customer groups about product features, benefits, pricing, credit terms, and durability.
• Represent products at trade shows and conferences.
• Support market research and gather competitor insights.
• Partner with marketing to enhance brand visibility.
• Commit to ongoing personal development annually.
• Travel across the assigned South Texas territory.
• Report directly to the National Sales Manager for Specialty Markets.
• Proven ability to consistently sustain a high level of targeted sales activity.
• Results-driven, proactive, accountable, self-motivated, and willing to take calculated risks.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong judgment, ethics, integrity, and alignment with company values.
• Solid understanding of sales, marketing, and financial aspects of managing a business at the territory level.
• Experience engaging with end-users, contractors, distributors, and other key influencers in the sales chain.
• Capability to sell a comprehensive package of products and services.
• Highly developed presentation skills.
• Ability to comprehend the design, installation, and maintenance of irrigation systems and articulate their benefits in a consultative manner.
• Skilled at achieving results while collaborating with a variety of personality types and styles.
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Eligibility for coverage under corporate liability insurance.
• Must reside within the designated territory, ideally in the Houston, San Antonio, or Austin areas.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• Required experience in the Landscape/Irrigation industry, including design, installation, or operational roles.
• Proficiency in English is required; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift boxes and office supplies weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Willingness and capability to travel daily using a company-provided vehicle, and occasionally by air.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight.
