This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Transform established EMEA channel priorities into effective operational processes, governance routines, partner management tools, and execution plans at the market level.
• Oversee operational governance for distributor identification, assessment, scoring, onboarding, and readiness for approval across both direct and indirect markets.
• Create and sustain scalable playbooks, onboarding checklists, templates, governance calendars, and digital tools.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, Finance, Legal, Analytics, and country teams to eliminate execution obstacles and facilitate distributor activation.
• Monitor channel performance, distributor capabilities, contract compliance, trade compliance metrics, action items, and improvement strategies through structured KPI visibility.
• Organize issue tracking, escalation pathways, compliance transitions, training requirements, systems access, and service-level expectations.
• Deliver commercially informed analysis and recommendations for the evolution of the distributor portfolio, including considerations for expansion, consolidation, replacement, or exit.
• Report to the Director of Market Development and Business Integration EMEA while collaborating with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in strategic decision-making through structured analysis and recommendations without being responsible for final strategic channel decisions.
• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• A graduate degree may be preferred, accompanied by 4 years of related experience.
• Strong capabilities in channel management, distributor governance, commercial operations, or partner management within a regional or multi-market setting.
• Capacity to translate strategic priorities into clear operating processes, implementation tools, governance routines, and quantifiable execution plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively across matrixed teams and exert influence without direct authority among Commercial, Finance, Legal, Analytics, Market Access, Marketing, and country stakeholders.
• Proficiency in managing complexity across diverse EMEA channel models.
• Understanding of critical KPIs and the ability to interpret and extract meaningful insights.
• Effective communication of KPI-derived insights to facilitate prompt and impactful business decisions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and sound commercial judgment when evaluating distributor capabilities, operational maturity, compliance readiness, and strategic alignment.
• Experience in medical technology, healthcare, pharmacy, retail, distributor, or indirect-market environments is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel 25 to 50%.
