Distinguished Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and development of scalable Enterprise Feature Store platforms.

• Guide the design and development of scalable, cloud-native AI-driven software systems and intelligent automation solutions.

• Convert domain-level strategies into system-level implementations.

• Maintain architectural integrity and reliability.

• Promote operational excellence through technical guidance, code reviews, and strategic architectural decisions.

• Advocate for DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure consistent delivery, observability, and system resilience.

• Mentor engineers across various teams.

• Identify and address architectural bottlenecks.

• Enhance system scalability and improve the developer experience.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field, along with 6 years of experience in software engineering or a related area; OR 8 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.

• Significant experience in designing and developing scalable Enterprise Feature Store platforms.

• Extensive experience in designing and developing scalable, cloud-native software systems and AI-driven platforms.

• Proven ability to lead system-level technical execution while ensuring architectural integrity and operational excellence.

• Expertise in integrating AI/ML components for intelligent automation and user-facing solutions.

• Competency in continuous improvement through automation, tooling enhancements, and process optimization.

• Proficient in mentoring engineers and promoting technical excellence.

• Strong technical judgment in balancing long-term system goals with business objectives.

• Effective in collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
