Distinguished Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement comprehensive product strategies for platform solutions.

• Develop and oversee thorough product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on data-driven insights and stakeholder feedback.

• Work collaboratively across departments to establish platform requirements and scalable, reliable cloud-based infrastructures.

• Utilize data analysis tools to track product performance and foster ongoing enhancements.

• Promote effective communication among teams regarding product objectives and delivery schedules.

• Manage the integration of distributed computing technologies to improve platform capabilities and user experience.

• Provide timely and precise data throughout Walmart’s network of systems and applications.

• Assist in large-scale data processing capabilities and Walmart-level analytics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field with 11 years of experience in product management.

• Option 2: 13 years of experience in product management or a related field.

• Demonstrated expertise in platform product management.

• Strong experience in developing product strategy and roadmaps.

• Ability to make informed decisions based on advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and distributed computing environments.

• Experience in designing and managing data architectures, including data warehouse solutions.

• Proficiency with Airflow and Apache Spark.

• Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Preferred: Master’s degree with 10 years of experience as a product manager.

• Preferred familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and best practices in digital accessibility.
