Dispatch Coordinator – Cox Fleet

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +41 more states.

📋 Description

• Diagnose events to ensure the correct service provider is dispatched.

• Organize and oversee fleet-operation logistics.

• Evaluate and allocate all outstanding events.

• Confirm appropriate authorization prior to dispatching events.

• Assign the nearest and most suitable service provider for requested repairs.

• Notify customers of estimated arrival times and adhere to their requirements.

• Update the supervisor on duty regarding service-provider delays or repair issues.

• Resolve problems and address customer inquiries.

• Provide market coverage through flexible work hours in a 24/7/365 operation.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED along with 3 years of experience in a related field (dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy-duty vehicle maintenance).

• Alternatively, an advanced degree or certification in a relevant discipline (Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Technology), or 5 years of experience in a related field.

• Strong understanding of dispatching and multitasking.

• Preferred: Degree in a related discipline or industry experience.

• Availability for varying schedules in a 24/7/365 setting.

• Willingness to work weekend, second (evening/nights), or third (overnight) shifts.

• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship currently or in the future.
