This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Deliver pharmaceutical care to patients.

• Ensure the precise and timely preparation, storage, billing, labeling, and distribution of medications under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager.

• Offer medication counseling, monitoring, drug utilization reviews, and assessments for patients.

• Guarantee accurate labeling, packaging, compounding, billing, verification, and delivery of medications.

• Assist the specialty pharmacy program and strive to meet or surpass accreditation standards.

• Manage the purchase, reception, storage, and processing of inventory.

• Maintain precise computerized medication profiles.

• Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technicians in the preparation, labeling, and delivery of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding the dispensing of drugs and controlled substances, along with maintaining necessary records.

• Uphold the organization’s vision, mission, values, Lean principles, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Create and sustain a safe environment for caregivers, patients, and visitors.

• Conduct activities in a professional and confidential manner while supporting corporate integrity initiatives.

• Provide timely, efficient, and accurate customer service and patient care.

• Execute additional duties of similar complexity as required or assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.

• Active registration with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy.

• Must be capable of wearing the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for safe job performance.

• Ability to stand and walk continuously (75% or more of the time).

• Capacity to carry 1–10 pounds consistently.

• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for those serving as couriers.

• Ability to lift 1–10 pounds frequently and 11–25 pounds occasionally.

• Ability to push or pull 1–25 pounds frequently and 25–50 pounds rarely.

• Competency in grasping/squeezing frequently.

• Ability to sit, bend, climb stairs, stoop/kneel/crouch, reach overhead, and operate a keyboard as required.

• Use of a clear and audible speaking voice and the ability to hear normal speech levels.

• Preferred: PharmD.

• Preferred: Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 residency program.

• Preferred: Any certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS).

• Preferred: A minimum of six (6) months of retail pharmacy experience.
