Disability Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and ensure the overall profitability of the regional operations center.

• Achieve and surpass financial and referral objectives.

• Optimize staffing efficiencies across the team.

• Manage performance expectations and enhancements for current staff.

• Provide management with regular updates on requested subjects.

• Oversee the overall production, performance, and quality within the assigned region.

• Plan and organize daily production and operational activities.

• Assess productivity by evaluating performance data, financial information, and activity reports.

• Collaborate with human resources, finance, IT, and business analysis/support departments.

• Identify labor requirements to achieve production targets.

• Recruit and train new personnel.

• Organize and supervise staff schedules and work assignments.

• Conduct timely and constructive performance reviews.

• Manage employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policy.

• Oversee the deposition process at the request of the client or defense counsel.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance environment.

• Preferred business experience in a Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto insurance environment.

• Experience with Long Term / Short Term Disability Claims is preferred.

• Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Clear understanding of the company's business lines.

• Strong critical thinking skills.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet specific deadlines.

• Proficiency in computer usage and typing skills.

• Must provide and maintain personal internet services.

• An uninterrupted internet connection is essential for remote work.
