This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +1 more state.
• Oversee strategic vendor partnerships and enterprise initiatives, encompassing vendor evaluation, contracting, implementation, governance, and performance management.
• Assess and support strategic opportunities with enterprise vendors.
• Create business cases and manage RFI/RFP processes.
• Spearhead vendor selection processes, contract development, negotiations, and implementations.
• Conduct stakeholder and oversight meetings with vendors, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
• Deliver executive-level reports and recommendations regarding vendor performance, business prospects, and strategic initiatives.
• Promote collaboration between vendors and teams in Clinical, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, Legal, and Technology.
• Track and report on vendor performance metrics to business unit management.
• Articulate vendor expectations and assess performance against established metrics.
• Establish, execute, and monitor annual vendor goals and targets.
• Ensure that vendor performance improvement plans and corrective action plans are developed and executed.
• Validate sustained improvements in vendor performance and outcomes through audits.
• Facilitate oversight meetings with vendors, internal partners, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise health plan participation in annual delegation audits.
• Follow up on audit deficiencies to ensure that corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in vendor management, including involvement in government programs healthcare or related operational areas.
• Proficient in MS-Project or other project management software.
• Skilled in MS-Office applications.
• Experience in project management, administration, or operations within the Healthcare industry is preferred.
• Background in training/education and application of statistical analysis is preferred.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Preference for candidates who can consistently work within or closely align with Central Time.
