S/4HANA – Coupa Integration Architect, Indirect Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create and implement global integrations between Coupa and SAP S/4HANA, overseeing the process from design to cutover and Hypercare.

• Develop and manage REST/JSON and OData APIs, focusing on schema design, error management, and performance optimization.

• Set up Coupa supplier and ERP integrations, including master data synchronization, approvals, tax handling, receiving, invoicing, and payment status updates.

• Utilize SAP S/4HANA Procurement/MM and FI-AP objects and processes effectively.

• Design and provide support for solutions using SAP Integration Suite/CPI, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.

• Implement integration security measures, monitoring, observability, and CI/CD practices.

• Manage API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger and conduct API testing with Postman.

• Configure SAP IDocs, BAPI/RFC, ALE, and OData integration artifacts.

• Set up Coupa master data imports/exports, suppliers, COA, transactional flows, SFTP/API integrations, and file formats.

• Implement security protocols such as OAuth2, mTLS, certificates, key management, and data protection controls.

• Establish monitoring and observability through dashboards, Splunk, App Insights, alerting, and trace correlation.

• Plan and oversee integration work efforts, dependencies, and environmental strategies across multiple delivery waves.

• Collaborate with MDG, ServiceNow, upstream/downstream products, and third-party providers.

• Articulate complex integration concepts to diverse Business and IT stakeholders.

• Facilitate delivery using JIRA, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and SolMan.

• Implement test automation for integration interfaces.

• Manage integration impacts across Indirect and Direct Procurement, P2P, and AP.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in delivering global Coupa and SAP S/4HANA integrations for complex organizations, encompassing design, implementation, cutover, and Hypercare.

• Strong practical expertise with REST/JSON, OData, API engineering, schema design, error handling, and performance optimization.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Coupa configuration for supplier and ERP integrations, master data synchronization, transactional flows, approvals, tax handling, receiving, invoicing, and payment status updates.

• In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA Procurement/MM and FI-AP objects and processes.

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite/CPI, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar middleware platforms.

• Practical experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and API testing using Postman.

• Familiarity with SAP IDocs, BAPI/RFC, ALE, and OData services.

• Experience in configuring Coupa master data imports/exports, suppliers, COA, SFTP/API integrations, file formats, and transactional flows.

• Strong grasp of OAuth2, mTLS, certificates, key management, and data protection standards.

• Experience with integration monitoring and observability tools such as CPI/MuleSoft dashboards, Splunk, App Insights, alerting, and trace correlation.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Git, branching strategies, versioning, and automated deployments.

• Understanding of Indirect and Direct Procurement process flows and their data implications across P2P and AP.

• Experience with MDG, ServiceNow, third-party providers, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, SolMan, and test automation.

• Ability to plan and manage intricate integration work efforts, dependencies, and environment strategies across multiple delivery cycles.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
