Senior Analyst, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Procure-to-Pay process for indirect materials.

• Identify suitable suppliers and utilize existing agreements.

• Manage the procurement process from purchase order placement to invoice payment for assigned indirect commodities.

• Gather price quotations and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.

• Evaluate supplier quotes and provide sourcing recommendations and decisions.

• Ensure timely product delivery according to schedule.

• Initiate negotiations with suppliers regarding price, lead time, and terms and conditions.

• Complete purchase order documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Place orders swiftly to support business demands and adhere to established team turnaround times.

• Collaborate with requisitioners and other functional teams.

• Work autonomously and as part of a team on additional projects that support the Supply Chain organization.

• Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to develop cost-effective procurement solutions, ensure compliance, and enhance processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience using SAP procurement software or comparable ERP systems in a procurement or supply chain setting.

• Familiarity with Oracle, Epicor, PeopleSoft, APEX, or PRISM.

• Advanced English proficiency.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate fluently and professionally in both written and spoken English.

• Proficient in SAP procurement functions, Business Warehouse, and Business Objects.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of lean principles and process improvement methodologies.

• Understanding of indirect commodities in a manufacturing or aerospace context.
