This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with specialty pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, 3PL providers, and other trade collaborators.
• Design and implement trade and distribution strategies that align with Market Access goals, portfolio expansion, and future commercialization initiatives.
• Supervise outsourced distribution tasks including inventory oversight, fulfillment, product logistics, returns, service performance, and resolution of operational issues.
• Assist in launch planning and ensure distribution readiness for new products, indications, and portfolio growth.
• Lead partner business reviews, performance management discussions, contract renewals, negotiations, and initiatives for operational enhancement.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Patient Support, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
• Guarantee alignment, continuity of supply, and operational excellence.
• Track channel performance, inventory, data integrity, and service metrics.
• Discover opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Offer trade, distribution, and channel insights to guide organizational decision-making and future development.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• 10+ years of experience in managing distribution operations, trade operations, channel operations, or similar roles.
• 8+ years of experience overseeing relationships with Specialty Pharmacy, distributors, wholesalers, and/or third-party logistics.
• Proven expertise in U.S. specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, and 3PL operational frameworks.
• Experience in leading partner relationships, account planning, business reviews, negotiations, and service performance enhancement initiatives.
• Experience managing outsourced distribution operations, including inventory handling, fulfillment, returns, reporting, and resolution of operational issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional decisions and operate effectively in a growing organization with shifting priorities.
• Proven ability to establish strong partnerships across organizational boundaries and contribute effectively in collaborative environments.
• Preferred: experience in oncology, rare diseases, biologics, or other specialty pharmaceutical products.
• Preferred: familiarity with specialty pharmacy networks, limited distribution models, buy-and-bill channels, or specialty distribution organizations.
• Preferred: experience in supporting product launches, developing channel strategies, implementing distribution models, or trade readiness initiatives.
• Preferred: working knowledge of order-to-cash processes, inventory management, channel data, state licensing requirements, and distribution compliance.
• Preferred: experience in leading partner selection activities, RFPs, contract execution, or the evolution of distribution networks.
• Preferred: an advanced degree such as an MBA, MPH, PharmD, or related field.
