This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement the yearly Key Opinion Leader (KOL) strategy within the designated region.
• Support the U.S. Medical Aesthetics marketing strategy through management of KOL and emerging-account relationships.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and Commercial Directors to identify, manage, and develop KOL relationships.
• Design and execute educational programs that positively influence KOLs and healthcare providers.
• Formulate and convey market support consistent with the approved product strategy and messaging.
• Work together with Marketing, Strategic Communications, Allergan Practice Consultants, Strategic Account teams, Sales Heads, Allergan Medical Institute, Public Relations, MSL, and Global Commercial Development teams.
• Coordinate efforts across all four U.S. Medical Aesthetics cash-pay franchises.
• Manage relationships with current KOLs, next-generation KOLs, and emerging market leaders.
• Establish connections with key decision-makers, thought leaders, and stakeholders to enhance Allergan’s visibility and competitive edge.
• Develop VIPs, speakers, trainers, and Allergan advocates while adhering to legal and regulatory standards.
• Create KOL plans and utilize U.S. Facial Aesthetics services across various franchises.
• Enhance KOL satisfaction by addressing their concerns and needs.
• Organize KOL communications and their participation at significant medical meetings.
• Develop and maintain the TEN app or KOL tracking platform.
• Identify and pursue impactful programs at key accounts.
• Organize Market Insights Programs for targeted KOL accounts.
• Spot next-generation influential KOLs and establish area- or region-level opportunities and special projects.
• Collaborate with sales teams on product and portfolio opportunities.
• Participate in key industry society meetings and engage area-level KOLs.
• Coordinate receptions, dinners, symposia, speakers, content, and agendas at society meetings.
• Attend approximately 10–12 society meetings annually.
• A Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant experience and education is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and/or marketing management.
• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to formulate and implement key strategies.
• Capacity to build relationships with physicians, AHCPs, society meeting organizers and leadership, and other healthcare professionals.
• Competence to effectively operate in a matrixed environment.
• Skill in developing first-line managers and emerging leaders through peer influence and mentoring.
• Ability to oversee field activities and manage workloads, resources, budgets, expenses, and business operations.
• Capacity to establish credible and effective customer relationships through strategic dialogue and engagement.
• Ability to prioritize essential activities and relationships across all four Aesthetic Divisions.
• Technical knowledge and business insight.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, consulting, and business planning capabilities.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% of the time.
