This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Establish and guide BeOne’s Technology Business Management and FinOps operating framework across essential technology services.
• Develop financial governance practices for cloud, data centers, network, compute, storage, observability, backup, managed services, and infrastructure platforms.
• Create budgets, forecasts, variance reports, financial performance reviews, showback/chargeback models, cost allocation, and transparency frameworks.
• Construct executive reports detailing technology expenditure, consumption trends, potential savings, forecast risks, and investment trade-offs.
• Promote accountability for technology consumption among platform, application, data, AI, business, and regional teams.
• Formulate infrastructure consumption strategies that balance cost, performance, reliability, security, compliance, and delivery speed.
• Identify and spearhead optimization opportunities across cloud, data centers, network, compute, storage, databases, observability, backup, AI/HPC, and managed services.
• Oversee cloud and infrastructure commercial levers, vendor commitments, savings strategies, reserved instances, enterprise agreements, software licensing, and service-provider optimization.
• Assist in vendor negotiations using consumption analytics, forecast modeling, benchmark analysis, scenario planning, and commitment recommendations.
• Establish workload-level and service-level unit economics.
• Lead FinOps initiatives across AWS, Azure, GCP, and related cloud-native services.
• Ensure cloud cost visibility, tagging compliance, budget controls, anomaly detection, optimization backlog management, and savings tracking.
• Integrate cost controls into landing zones, infrastructure-as-code modules, deployment pipelines, and platform guardrails.
• Develop dashboards and reports for cloud costs, utilization, waste, and optimization opportunities.
• Implement cost management practices for data centers, colocation, compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and infrastructure tooling.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering on telecom, WAN, SD-WAN, internet, private connectivity, cloud connectivity, and related network costs.
• Construct financial models, consumption forecasts, cost baselines, scenario plans, KPIs, and scorecards.
• Provide monthly and quarterly executive reports on consumption, optimization, savings, forecast accuracy, and investment risks.
• Define governance processes, roles, decision rights, forums, escalation paths, standards, playbooks, and procedures.
• Lead and mentor the Technology Business Management and FinOps team.
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, task assignments, resource provision, performance evaluations, mentoring, issue resolution, and career development.
• Collaborate across Infrastructure, Cloud Engineering, Network, Finance, Procurement, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Application, Data, AI, and Business Technology teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in technology, infrastructure, cloud operations, finance, procurement, analytics, technology business management, or similar functions.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud financial management, infrastructure cost management, technology consumption governance, or technology business management.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and financial reporting tools.
• Advanced skills in Excel, data analysis, dashboard creation, and executive reporting.
• Experience in leading TBM, FinOps, cloud cost management, infrastructure financial governance, IT finance, technology operations analytics, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of foundational technology services, including public cloud, data centers, network, compute, storage, backup, observability, managed services, and infrastructure platforms.
• Strong grasp of public cloud pricing models and enterprise commitment structures.
• Experience with AWS is required.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, Application, Data, AI, and senior technology leadership.
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to convert complex technical consumption patterns into business, financial, and operational insights.
• Experience in creating dashboards, KPIs, governance procedures, executive reports, and business cases.
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture, cloud operating models, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, platform engineering, network architecture, service management, and vendor management.
• Demonstrated capability to influence without direct authority across global, cross-functional teams.
• Flexibility to undertake business trips as needed.
• Valid driver’s license in applicable countries.
• An advanced degree, FinOps Foundation certification, TBM certification, cloud provider certifications, ITIL, experience with Azure/GCP/multi-cloud/data center/network cost management, regulated-industry experience, and familiarity with FinOps Framework/TBM practices are preferred.
